About artist Liliia Dutka

Liliia Dutka is an Ukrainian artist and graphic designer. She was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. Graduated from Children's School of Art N3, then from Kyiv Academy of Decorative Arts and Design. While studying at school, took part in numerous city, national and international competitions, where often won prizes. There she gained a lot of knowledge in the field of drawing, painting, composition, graphics and design.

Her works combine styles of realism, symbolism, mynaive art. The biggest inspiration is nature, traveling, sincere and beautiful feelings between people, my inner awareness and the transformations that I experience - all this flows like a stream into my paintings. This is a life and the artist tells about it through colors, shapes and  lines. 

🔸 In 2018 I took part in the exhibition "Dia de los Fridas", (Lviv, Ukraine) dedicated to the work of Frida Kahlo.

🔸 In 2019 - took part in the exhibition "Parajanov Fest" in Lviv, (Ukraine) where I presented a number of works, inspired by the work of the great film director.

🔸 In the period 2015-2020 I often used ethno motifs, in the style of primitivism. Now in my works I combine styles of realism, symbolism.

🔸 In 2021, based on my paintings, I created metaphorical and associative cards "Amazing You".

My last solo exhibition 30. 09. 2021 in Kyiv was "Amazing You", dedicated to understanding and finding inner human harmony. The idea of the exhibition is to show the self-worth of women, the world of the female soul through the various female images that were presented at the exhibitions.

🔸 3 – 10. 12. 2022, charity auction of the exhibition "Evacuated" as part of the art residency "Aura of the City. Evacuated"

🔸 20 – 24. 02. 2023, "Peace, Not War", group exhibition of Ukrainian artists, Your Day, Bardejov, Slovakia.

🔸 In 2022-2023 I created a series of artworks that introduced in Dublin's fair in Ireland in spring 2023, where I lived during 1,5 years after I moved because of russian invasion into Ukraine.

🔸 15-29. 01. 2024, Skerries, Ireland, solo exhibition "Ukraine in Heart" where were represented over 20 artworks I've created living in Ireland.

My artworks are keeping in different countries such as Australia, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Italy.
